Barry Paquette

Barry was called to the Bar in 1972 and has been practicing at all levels of the Ontario Courts including the Court of Appeal and Divisional Court. Barry is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Family Law dealing with divorce, custody, support and property.

A current member of the Collaborative Family Law Association of Waterloo, Barry has also been vice-chair for Anselma House, a home for abused women and their children as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Big Sisters.

Don Travers

Don was called to the Bar in 1974 and has practiced in many legal sectors including commercial and residential real estate, corporate law, commercial and bank financing, franchising, and wills and estates.

He is a community leader involved in numerous community organizations. He was elected to the City of Kitchener Council in 1979 and the Waterloo Regional Council in 1981 to 1989. He served as Chair of the Finance Committee of both the City of Kitchener and the Region of Waterloo during most of his terms on council.

Fadwa Yehia

Fadwa Yehia graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004. Since graduating she has worked in the areas of family law and civil litigation in the Toronto area.

Ms. Yehia is also fluent in French and Arabic. As a member of the Bar Association of Ontario, Ms. Yehia will be working primarily in the practice area of Family Law in our Guelph and Milton offices.

Tara Lattanzio

Tara Lattanzio graduated from Queen's Law School in 2000. Since graduating she has worked in the areas of commercial and civil litigation in the Toronto area.

A member of the Bar Association of Ontario, Ms. Lattanzio will be working primarily in the practice areas of family law and commercial and civil litigation in our Cambridge office.

Jim Snelgrove

We are pleased to welcome our newest member to our team, James G. (Jim) Snelgrove. Jim was called to the bar in 1969.

Initially, Jim carried on a general legal practice in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. For the past 15 years he has confined his practice to real estate and wills and estates.

Here at Paquette Travers & Deutschmann, Jim will continue to focus his attention on Wills & Estates and is a valuable asset to our real estate arm.
